At least Taylor Swift isn't in the same category or I'd say she'd win it purely over her popularity. These things are usually popularity contests.

Same thought here Kiera... If that's the case, then Carrie Underwood is the most popular among the nominees. Miranda Lambert's song is the most favorite in my opinion. But the category is "Best Country Vocal Performance by Female" definitely, Jewel's Satisfied is the most deserving to win without a doubt.The way she sings the song is flawless.

You're right Mâ‚¬RIO,that was in 1997 for the "Best New Female Artist" everyone thought that Jewel would be the winner that night. Hope she'll win this time.
