I ordered Alanis Morrisette's Jagged Little Pill Acoustic version last week, it arrived on Saturday and I have to say it's very very good - it's like hearing the album again for the 1st time - can't believe it's 10 years since it's release!
But anyway - this got me thinking - hows about Jewel did an acoustic version of 0304.. or at least some of it? I'd love to hear tracks like 2 Become 1 and Haunted in an acoustic style... Just a thought :D |

WOULD NEVeR HaPPEN
Jewel has said that she wouldn't want to re-recordan album she already did. Maybe she would have a few songs but she would never do a wwhole cd again. It's an intresting thought though |

0304 songs - well jewel keeps on defending it - i think people took it overboard themselves - as far as i'm concerned - i'm on jewel's side - yet not many fans that say they are fans are - |

With 0304... overall, I dislike the album and at the time it arrived I remember being incredibly disappointed after loving This Way to bits and playing it to death... however, that said, my stance with 0304 is that the 3 or 4 tracks I love I really like, but those that I dislike and I know I really won't like. The stupid thing is I do like my pop music but I just didn't like it as a pop album.
Still... seeing Jewel do 2 Become 1 acoustically, sitting a few metres or so from her in the front row of the audience on the Terry & Gaby Show for five a couple of years ago was fantastic :D Eye contact and smiles with Jewelie that close - can't put a price on it! B) |

I can't see her ever doing it and it doesn't really bother me too much. I see where Jewel is coming from. Remaking things can be a bit cheesy and Alanis is lucky to have pulled it off.
I can't believe it has been 10 years either. Makes me feel old :( |

Tell me about it - I can remember playing it and getting sheepish about the expletitive in "You Oughta Know" - well, I would've been 12-13 at the time! :D

well...i dont think it should be said she would never do an acoustic version, she may say it now, but people have been known to change their minds about stuff...
so maybe there is hope yet for the future? (is beginning to feel, maybe i should actually listen to some of her newer stuff...)
