New Official Site!!!

You have to create a login but part of new official site is already working. Jewel just posted the first post there and it is great news. She says fans will win tickets and get to make videos of her at every stop on the tour to be shown on jeweljk.com. WOW!! And she says Mr BB will be back too!! This could be better than ever. I'm so excited about how much she is doing online now. This new team of hers is doing a great job. Jane



Well hello everyone!! Welcome to the new and improved jeweljk.com site!! (Yes, someone bought jewel.com a long time ago and I'm sure would sell it to me for a small fortune.... So I just avoided the problem and included my initials...jk....jewel Kilcher.... Yes, Jewel is my real name... ) Anyway, the full blown site will be up in a few weeks- but here’s a taste for now! I will be doing all my short stories and blogs and updates here from the road- and we will feature a fan reporter from every city on the upcoming tour with my Almost Famous contest(insert link to promotion). The winners get primo tickets and the chance to film and take pictures during the show and backstage- and interview me on video, and we will post it....(I’m excited about this! I can’t wait to see how creative you guys get!) Also, Mr BB will be back- some of you may remember him from my site a few years ago- he’s a great friend and an amazing music archivist who has every single tape of every single show I have done since I was 14- and he will blog and post rare bootlegs and keep u guys up to date every day!


My new album Perfectly Clear is out this week!!! I’m excited and nervous to hear what you guys think... I hope you love it... As a songwriter I am really proud of the writing I put on it... I love to push myself as a writer, and try to write great lyrics and music in my own style... I am very passionate about country music, and have taken what I love from my heroes like Kris Kristopher son, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn and Merle Haggard and made my own brand of story telling songs....


I am so busy this year! I have done 20 cities every week since January for a radio tour!! And I am now leaving the ranch and won’t return until November!! I’ve never been gone this long- not since my first album- and I hope I do well out there on the road! It just become so busy- I’m releasing the new album with a lot of TV and press, starting to film Nashville Star on NBC, and start the tour with Brad Paisley and friends all the same month- so I work 2 months with out a day off! I’m thinking of doing another TV show in the fall-while touring- so it will stay very busy... But I’m excited about all the amazing opportunities I’ve been given and the exciting opportunities coming up! I’m doing it because I love this album so much, and I love my new label so much and I want to give it every chance to succeed....

The site seems to be run by a company called echomusic.com, looks like they run some big music sites. I expect they'll start up a street team soon as well...

Her Schedule is extremely busy and remember what happened after Spirit, she basically was worn out and took time off, hopefully that won't happen again.

Doesn't look like there's a feed on the site at the moment, I guess they could add one when the new site goes live.

However, I use Dapper.net to generate feeds for my site: if you try this link... Jewel's Blog RSS Feed then hopefully it should work in a RSS reader. It seems to work okay in Google Reader. Unfortunately I can only access the blog date, title and url at the moment.

Hello,guys! I just walked in and dropped by.. im so extremely busy these days too but i still read your post every now and then. I went to the new website of Jewel and read her blog. I also made some little notes in there. I wonder, if Jewel can read those those notes from fans. But I find this forum more organize and fans here are so pro-active on the activities and updates from Jewel.
