My boyfriend called me and told me, otherwise I would have missed it!! She is so pretty and this is really the first time I've sene the hsow to be honest. It's kinda funny.

haha I thought it was hilarious and minneapolis is 4 hrs away from me, i had two people call me to make sure i'm watching it and i'm like hello i'm on top of the jewel news yo, my friend told me i should have went there to audition because even if i sucked i could have met jewel again hahaha

I missed it too.... After I charged my phone... which has been dead for a really long time... I had like 5 voice mails from different people in my family telling me that Jewel was on American Idol.

I am mad at that, how come we didn't know about this yesterday morning... wasn't last night the first episode? I thought she was a guest on the show later on in the season....

I remember reading a while ago that Jewel would be a guest judge alongside our very own Simon Cowell on American Idol this season,and it came back into my mind a few days ago as i had seen the trailors on ITV 2 here in the UK advertising that American Idol was 'coming soon'.
I was actually going to post the question of when she would be on,in case some of the JKF members in the USA had seen her. Hopefully she will be on for more than one episode. How good would it be to turn up at the auditions knowing she was there,and sing a Jewel song,she would probably love that. As another post said,even it you are a crap singer,it is a perfect way to meet Jewel,and get a sneaky kiss from her,on national TV,how cool !!! Anyway,we can dream.Looking forward to seeing it when it shows in the UK. Cheers,Crawfy !!! |

The first airing in the UK is this Friday on ITV2 at 20:30. I think it's repeated on Saturday on ITV from 12:40

some girl did sing foolish games and it was terrible and apparently she was jewel's biggest fan and all jewel said was i don't wan to talk right now

Yeah I watched it last night too. It was a lot of fun to see Jewel "judging." She was really sweet and supportive of the contestants. She actually seemed a little uncomfortable having to say "no" to some people. I heard her tell Simon and Randy that they were "cold." Those two were really quite mean to some of the contestants.
