E-bay has it's uses, but I've found that used items from amazon.com are a great deal. I've bought single-CD's, and books for real cheap. Plus on Amazon.com when you buy a used CD or book the shipping costs are very low. I find that many E-bay sellers jack up the shipping and handling costs way too much. I've see E-bay sellers charge $10 fixed price to ship a CD? I don't think so.

my shipping was 4.50 for 3 cd's ...and that's what's on the outside of the label sent to me - so u know they didn't overcharge me...in fact......that 4.50 shipping charge was more than what i paid (i paid 4 for shipping) - but considering what i had to bid to win the cd's...um.....i guess they gave me a discount! lol

Hello peoples,

Did you not read the topic name well enough?? If Jewel is going on tour this summer, then that means a summer album release. She already said that she's pretty much done with it. So am I the only one excited about this????

Peace Out,
B)

Sounds like you did pretty good. I still recommend people check Amazon.com before they bid on E-bay. You don't need to wait for the auction to end,The items usually ship real quick, you know the total right up front, they have lots of items including import CD's with extra tracks, and they seem safer than your typical E-bay transaction.

I've bought plenty of items on E-bay. I'm just saying to give amazon.com a try. You can get new CD singles for 99 cents plus two or three dollars for shipping. Sometimes brand new items are only $0.50 more than used ones.

It's also a really good place to buy books at a discount. I'll never pay full price again.

Im angry. because i have to wake up by 10 on friday to buy tickets.
10! That's late morning for me. God love ya for having to get up half way through a morning to go out a buy tickets for a Jewel concert. Boy I wish I had that complaint.

On another note, giving too much praise is very bad for the ego so we like to keep things low key here. But in spite of all that, with words inspired by british band THANK YOU BOBBY from the bottom of my pencilcase. You truly are an inspiration to all. :P

In more seriousness, it is great to see people being active and to see Jewel at least playing gigs again. Always good to hear!

Toodles
Kiera

Kiera's right, if my ego gets any bigger then I might explode because of it. Well, because of that or because of eating one too many chicken McNuggets.

I bought my tickets for the Thousand Oaks show !!!!

Orchestra Row A seats 1-2 :)

I can't believe the price of the tickets though. it's 80$ with convenience fee, building charges and everything included....

now I can't wait for my holidays in june !!!! a 2 weeks 1/2 road trip from LA to Montana, and on top of that a Jewel concert !!!!!

well i was there at 10 am (except it was 8 pm for me :-) and at first it didn't work. then after 5 minutes, I got row L and I didn't want that, then row P, I tried again for row Q and I finally got row A !!!

but what's wrong with ticketmaster, they only give the row now but not the seat number ??
so I have seats 1 & 2 which are on the far left of the stage

anyway I'm happy with my seats :)
