Amused by the Muse
Here comes my muse out of no where.
Like a gust of wind, shook my soul within I never really thought that I would find Jewel In my search of my other divine self. I found Jewel, the oasis of my barren artistry. A reflection from within. Last edited by greenpoet; 12-30-2006 at 04:12 AM. |

I like it. Jewel would probably appreciate that. I like the oasis of my barren artistry line.

My wish, is that I may always see her and listen to her songs forever.
Just in case, she will find herself in Stephenville to hibernate for awhile, this poem is dedicated to her. I may search for her in the deep silence of my heart KISS FROM HEAVEN BY : Greenpoet for Jewel The fair moon is rising The keen stars are twinkling The guitar is tinkling But the notes are not sweet 'til you sing them again The once starlight like diamonds of heaven Now seemed to be a faint-cold midnight starless sky Where is your voice most tender That hath given these strings without a soul- a soul of its own The falling ore blazing fire A kiss from heaven to earth A rhapsody of sight beyond expression My eyes not close and wish be true Guitar strings are tinkling once again For I hear from afar, the yodel of Jewel And my heart is happy once again. |

Thank you, Cris...just a little push, makes my heart want to write again.Really,Im amuse with the muse...
This one is for our muse, Jewel Kilcher- Hear ye... PAINT ME A SONG BY : GREENPOET You color my life. Bringing me sunshine of sunlit skies. Paint me a song. Sing me your symphony. Hum a tune or two, Pen with different notes, in different strokes. Strum a chord, a key to my heart, And delight your fingers with your guitar. Tonight, as the moon sleeps, The stars will awaken. Though the leaves are silent, The dews of your melody scatter like fireflies after the rain. So won't you paint me your song, Jewel Let me hear your voice I never wanted to be ohh... so blue Wont you paint me your awesome colors Because you are a painter of souls |

I would like to share this revised poem, I did last night.
Amuse By the Muse Like a gust of wind, The muse amuses me with her style. Refreshes my soul with her smile. Blowing kisses like butterflies, As I cast my nets to catch while it flies. Oh with such beauty! “Never thought I would find you, In the unfamiliar poetry, songs and stories, from the journey you have tread I read your book to the spine Makes me shiver to discover, A singer of songs and painter of souls, Look what I found? A girl with a golden hair, Who got music in her soul, And a voice to sing it too. Nay! I say to you, not all the singers of a thousand years. I found the oasis of my barren artistry My rusty sword turned silver and mightier. Tarnished armor turned glossier than ever As If to set a duel with my self, In search of the divine. Thought my heart will remain cold Until I heard you sing And my heart starts to sing with you. Coz’ You amuse me in ways : Your mind is fertile as green meadows Your skin white as snow. I listen to your soul, As I see the blueness of my own. Won’t you let your songs fly across the miles to fertile my heart. While in the abyss of the unknown Heard voices who led me out of my shell. While in the heaven’s firmament Saw millions of stars, all singing and twinkling But they are not as bright as you have become While you sing with the night winds. Nay! I say to you, you are that star whom they call,”the Jewel”. So when I look up at the sky, there you are to look upon. Last edited by greenpoet; 01-16-2007 at 04:35 AM. Reason: Change linking verb |

BEAUTIFUL, man!!!!
The one in which you talk about to find your "jewel" is very sweet and I also like how you recycles lines from your poems, like Jewel do I decide to don´t send you just a PM, but to recover this thread and encourage you to keep on showing us your poems (if you agree ) P.S.: Sorry for that of "Man" I called you at the beginning... I don´t know why I think you are a male jeje. Now I will search for "Poetry 101". Well... take care and see you |

oH, Man! You have retrieved it... my thread out of the pile of threads. Thank you for appreciating some poems I made for Jewel. Surprisingly, I was also hooked into her flock of fans. We all have been engendered by the power of her artistry. She's like a magnet.. she inspires people, right?
This poem is for you, Sonne. IN THE SHADE OF GREEN By :Greenpoet Last night, I was standing alone Waiting and hiding in the shade I felt the rain on the roof I let the thunder rolled its angry throes Thowing tantrums over my head *** So let the rain pour down So let the lightnings come down So let the angry skies' mouth is press *** But I will not run through the rain I will hide and wait in the shade I will get down and pray Knowing it will calm down While I'm in the shade of green. --end--
