Final Release: 'Right Here and Now - Journeys' - Song written for Jewel
Final Release of the 'Right Here and Now - Journeys' video.
I wrote this song for Jewel (Kilcher), though I'm still trying to get her to hear it. Alas, I think it's good enough to be a hit for Jewel, but in her absence, I've asked my friend, Cecilia Rockstead to sing it 'Right Here and Now'. Let me know what you think?

Hi Ray,
I'm glad to see you here. Welcome to the forum.  I moved your first post from Anything Jewel section to the Video section. This song is really moving, and every Jewel fan is very excited and hopeful that Jewel will finally hear this great song. Hope to see you more here and again welcome to the forum.

Yeah, welcome to the forum Ray...song's really nice.
Good luck getting it to Jewel though; it can be very difficult to get something like that to an artist; I seem to recall someone asking on the mailing list how to get some of their poetry to Jewel and MrBB said that often times things like that are screened out so she can't read them simply because of the legal liability she would have if something showed up that was similar to your work, Jewel would have no way of really proving it's original... and on top of that, it might even be unintentional where a line sticks in her mind subconsciously and doesn't realize it was borrowed. But regardless, good luck!
