How to post YouTube Videos!
Thought I would throw together a quick tutorial to help people post YouTube videos! This may seem like a lot of steps, but I've broken each step down. Once you do this once, it will seem like second nature! Feel free to test posting videos in this thread.
1. Go to the YouTube page for the video you wish to embed. Copy the portion of the URL to the right of watch?v=. In this case, I copied the text 3PwNIeC_6pM. If the URL is longer than this example, do not copy past the ampersand (&) symbol. 2. To post a YouTube video, you need to start a new thread, or go to the advanced reply page; quick reply doesn't have the YouTube button. 3. Click the YouTube button above the message area. 4. Enter the Caption you wish to give the video. I chose Jewel Meets a Fan 5. Click between the YT tags. This is where we will paste the text copied from the YouTube address above. 6. Paste the text from the YouTube address between the YT tags. 7. Post! |

Oh my god - this is excellent! And something I should have done. I do have a thread on how to do it but it doesn't have pictures and it's really not that great but this is brilliant.
Have some rep for that! Thanks so much Robby. I really appreciate it and I know many of the members here do too now that they've been give a proper tutorial. |

My pleasure.
It will help me out, too...the pop up that asks for the "option" I always think that it wants the tag then, rather than the caption. :P |
