Yes, LDR is quite addicting!! I had to listen to it quite a few times when I first heard it to really absorb all the lyrics....the music itself is very mesmerizing and relaxing. Dang it, now I'm gonna have to go listen to it again! DARN!!! haha.....! :-)

I love that song too and couldn't believe it when she said it was out of the trash can. How could she throw a song like that out? To think of the songs that she has thrown away that we haven't seen. If they are as good as LDR or even better, then it doesn't bare thinking about.

That's what I love about Jewel's music. Her songs always find their way to me when I need them. I may have heard a song hundreds of times but it will mean more to me at a certain time. Life Uncommon was a song that really helped me last year and I found it very inspirational. I never felt that way about it before until I was going through a tough time and I needed a lift and that song gave it to me then.

Have you heard the acoustic version from pre-Spriit days? It is awesome.

My friend told me she can't stand listening to Jewel when she's depressed. Ok, some songs are really depressing like Adrian or Painters (so sad...). But for me it's quite opposite. I finds so much wisdom and courage in her songs. Hands and Life uncommon give me such courage... and there are those nice love songs or better "break-up songs" like Perfectly Clear, Foolish Games, I don't Care and Just so happens (innerchange rarities) that strangely give me hope cause everybody goes through break ups and hearing Jewel sing about the exact same thing in many different ways gives me new perspectives that make things look less tragic...hmm... I don't know if it makes sense to you guys, but it makes sense to me:P

Back on topic now: Last Dance Rodeo is one of my jewel favorites:P

But my obsession with songs varies...like there was a time I was obsessed with "Flower", then I used to be listening to a particular version of "Everything Breaks" cause I liked Jewel voice on it and so on...

So yes, jewel songs tend to be addictive! Be careful I racomend some Steve poltz song too just to allievate Jewel addiction

"Does anyone believe in love anymore" is a song that I never tire of. The lyrics are amazing....it very emotional. I've learned it on the guitar and it is my very favorite to play and sing! Oh man...her performance on this is amazing...you can check it out on You tube. Do It because it is the BEST!!

It feels good to know that I'm normal that I also feel the same way you guys about certain songs of Jewel. My heart loves to listen to her song, "THUMP THUMP"; a feel-good song and I feel love in a fresher way whenever I listen to her "KISS THE FLAME", Gees! I do love her "PERFECTLY CLEAR" like I would just love to sit down on a lazyboy on a lazy afternoon to relax and just hear that song with a perfect cup of coffee. Oh! there ' s more... "ABSENCE OF FEAR" feels love drowning me because of the deep feeling of what one feels about the need for love. I feel that my heart is a vacuum which only love can fill. And of course. The eternal, “HANDS”- I can listen to it forever and ever…coz my hands are perfect and its God’s way of extending His love to my fellowmen. I could go on and on… but it seems Jewel songs has certain magic spell that makes my heart listen to it, I wonder why.

Hi:
I enter to see what others say about and it seems as though this girl is hypnotizing anyone jaja.
I´m hearing right now a version of "Does anyone believe in love anymore?" pretty song!!!
She got so many good songs that it will be imposible to name just one and it will be unfair! Each one is different from the other, they´re no comparable.
Instead of "Song obsession" I would say "Jewel obsession" jajaja.
Take care, Sonne
