Real autographs????
There's something that's been bugging me some time. When I first met Jewel (2004), I was really happy to have met her. So then I bought a few autographed photos of her (and other celebs as a result) over the course of these years.
In particular, I bought a few photos from someone who is a member of the UACC (and I think he leads a region within the US). Since then, I've obtained autographs from Jewel's official site, and once again recently in person. So that got me to think: was the one I got from the UACC member a fake? She has never signed her name like this in any other photo. And it puts to question some of the others I bought from him, and other UACC members. I've attached 3 photos to compare. Did she ever change her signing style? Help! |

In my opinion, it doesn't look anything like her autograph. In all the years of seeing and having items with her autograph on it, I've never seen one that is different from the first 2 images you show.

Well, so much for the UACC, which is supposed to be a group that holds up its integrity....

Yeah but I think ebay ruined that. People started to buy in good faith and sell on again thinking stuff was uacc approved simply because that's how they were bought but in the end, weren't. It only take one disingenuous person to start a mexican wave affect like this.
Sorry Shu! |

Not just eBay, but I actually bought from this guy's website, who supposedly runs a whole business collecting real autographs. He has an auction of his own!
Either he as a regional UACC member was not aware of this (which won't surprise me since he wouldn't know all the celebs' autographs or their faces if he met them on the street), or this whole UACC thing is a sham. I don't know what to think! |

it could be her signature. This is the first time I got her autograph in 1997...
Most of her signatures were similar around this time. Chris.

Yeah but that photos definitely doesn't look like it was from that time. I don't think she was doing her signature that way for long.
