Hello there! Newbie here!
I've been searching for a Jewel forum forever and ever! Glad to have fianlly found what looks like to be an active one... Hoping someone can help me. I've been trying to find a good quality version of Violet Eyes since I first heard Jewel perform it at The Greek Theater in Hollywood in July of 2002. I too lost someone very dear to me to cancer and the song just hit home so hard! I know she did it a few time on the tour in 04 and was wondering if there are any quality mp3's out there from the Instant Live recordings or if there is anyway to get a copy of one of the Instant Live shows on CD. I've seen them on ebay but they go for upwards of $200!!! Very collectable and worth it, but I can't afford. Does anyone know if Violet Eyes is supposed to make the new CD? That would be even better! Thanks so much!!!
