It's confirmed:
The Soundstage on PBS is from the Meyerson Symphony Hall, Dallas as I originally stated. It is the same show as the one shown on RaveHD in early December |

Did they say anything about the Joliet show? Will it be used for anything later? What a bummer! You guys would have loved that show!!!

They've updated this page...
http://www.pbs.org/wttw/soundstage/jewel/featured.htm it now has links to some photos, the setlist and a video clip (which I can't get to work) Chris.

If you go to PBS.org and then go to shop PBS you can buy a lot of Soundstage shows... Like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Chris Isaak and a few others.. Maybe we'll be able to purchase the Jewel Soundstage?

Many of those songs were great live at the show, but they missed out on a few key performances--like "Where You Are," which I know I've already mentioned.
Sucks... :comp03: |

I like hearing her so much more when it's just her and her guitar... with the band it's like she has to focus so much on keeping up with the band/track that most of that Jewelness is lost....

Hmmm... well. the TV listings said that Jewel would be on Soundstage tonight but no such luck. It said that Nova was on at 7 and soundstage was on at 8 but when I turned it on at 8 it was Nova. So I figured maybe they were off by an hour. It wasn't on at 9 either. What the heck???

I thought it was great...I couldn't tell if that was really Ty on keyboards, though. My cable box's info screen said it was Chicagoland pops, but it obviously wasn't--you could especially tell by how much the crowd cheered when she said Texas during the performance of Stephenville.

at this moment is being shown only on HDTV.
there aren't any showings on the regular PBS. Hopefully they'll rerun it over there too. (and I'll finally be able to see it..) |
