A Few Questions
I have a few questions...
Jewel is jewel, she is a millionare, right? Please tell me Jewel has a million dollars... Are there any unreleased songs from the 0304 time? Maybe some songs just sang live, or some that wernt on the CD. Are there any?

She has WELL over a million dollars. Unlike artists that sell 70 million albums *cough - Britney*, she has song writing credits on each song.

I think she performed some of the 0304 songs acoustically - like Intuition and 2 Become 1. There used to be videos on YouTube of these - but don't know if they're still around or not. If anyone has recordings, they are *Angelfood*.

There's a few songs that didn't make it on 0304...I don't know how far along they went in production... Let me see if I can find names. (They weren't performed live).
There's just some songs she co-wrote with Lester Mendez (whom she worked on 0304 with), so I'm assuming they were a result of 0304. |

Searching ASCAP's website reveals the following songs were written with Lester Mendez or Guy Chambers (both who co-wrote songs on 0304):
Always Closer This Time Down to This Fallin' I'm Your World (Not Just a Girl) It All Comes Down to This Let's Get Stupid Lover's Lullaby Rock Steady The Gift This doesn't mean that any of the songs were ever recorded and many (if not all) may not even be complete songs. |

Hey, all this talk of 03:04 has got me thinking. You know how on the sleeve notes of that album she mentions two of the songs were written for Holly Valance and Carlos Santana (I think Yes U Can was the Santana one) and for one reason or another they didn't record them. Well what I was wondering was if Jewel has ever written/co-written for other artists?

I remember her saying once that she was writing for Cher. I don't know what ever came of that. She has a song on Jason Michael Carrol's new album that she co-wrote and sings with him on the album.

I just know that she wanted to write "face of love" for a woman, but she didnt want it so Jewel put it on her christmasalbum. And she also wanted to write a song for trisha yearwood, she said once on a concert, but i think trisha yearwood didnt took a song of hers. PS I would love to her these unreleased songs from 0304 =)

Thanks for the info you guys. It just seems to me that a songwriter as talanted and prolific as Jewel would have submitted songs for other artists. Can't imagine why no-one would have recorded them. Perhaps it's that her songwriting style is so unique that other artists cannot do justice to her material.
