Default Jewel Faking A Country Accent?

Im sorry, but the way she sang daughter in "The Kind Of Woman I Want My Daughter To Be" on Stronger Woman...

Madonna and Britney Spears faked British accent, could it be possible Jewel is faking a country accent?

She HAS lived in Texas for awhile - maybe the accent is rubbing off on her? She spends a lot of time around the rodeo scene too where there's a lot of southerners. I grew up a Yankee, and moved to the south about 8 years ago, and now I tend to have a bit of the accent too.

i agree with the daughter statement. it sounds kind of silly, but oh well. looking forward to the album regardless.
maybe 2 become 1 will be acoustic? I hope so.

I agree that daughter sounds so country and I think it is fake, If Ty had a strong Texas accent I would say that Jewel could have picked up some of it but Ty doesnt have an accent.
