Its True !!!
Check out this rabbit: :bunnyjump: When he jumps, he stretches out to a full body length. (Whether he hops to the right or left) Yet (in total defiance of the Laws of Physics) the rabbit takes 2 hops in one direction to cover the same distance that took just one hop in the opposite direction. Funny, I said to myself... funny. Lissa must be feeding these rabbits Frankencarrots !!! ...

Wow. That is interesting. Maybe it's an optical illusion. Like this one. Is it a duck or is it a bunny?
You know there's a reason magicians pull rabbits out of their hats. ;)

No Mike...
Its not an optical illusion at all. On closer analysis I observed that the rabbit loses ground when turning to face the left... roughly a tail-length. Yet, when he turns to face the right, he gains ground... approximately a 'quarter to a third' of a body length. Therefore I deduct that the rabbits muscles are stronger on his left side than on his right. The only other explaination is this: Although at full body stretch when hopping to the left, the rabbit is probably mentally less determined to reach his destination... so therefore, less energy is exerted with each hop. As his muscle structure is covered by thick fur it is quite impossible to confirm this theory. However, if Dave or Kiera would contact the original animator, they could ask him/her to construct a wire-frame 3D structure of the rabbit using 'Lightwave'... then I could more accurately solve this dilemma. __________________________________________________ _____________

well...justin doesn't need to get out more - as much as i hate physics - he's right - i didn't really notice by the laws of physics - but i found it odd how it only took him less trips going certain direction than the other - i stared @ that bunny for awhile like - that's just wrong - i must be psychic :)

Thanks Michael...
I'm glad that you've noticed the 'Physics Defying Rabbit' too. Kiera and Dave's observational skills are somewhat lacking... otherwise they'd have noticed it too. They should really stay in more. :) __________________________________________________ __________

We should stay in more so that we can watch the bunny hopping left & right?
LMAO  Im not going to read this thread anymore Justin, its got way out of control (bit like your bunny) For now, and for your entertainment, i will leave you with a small thought..... A rabbit walked into a butcher's and said, "Got any cabbage?" The butcher said, "No." The next day the rabbit walked into the butcher's and said, "Got any cabbage?" The butcher said, "No!" The next day the rabbit walked into the butcher's and said, "Got any cabbage?" The butcher said, "NO! And if you ask me that one more time I'll nail you to the wall by your ears!" The next day the rabbit walked into the butcher's and said, "Got any nails?" The butcher said, "No." The rabbit said, "Got any cabbage?" :bananarock: :lalala: Dave

hahaha! did anyone take into consideration, maybe the bunny is more aerodynamically challenged in that direction?

The body structure of the rabbit would be constant no matter which direction he travels. As rabbits are not particlarly aerodynamically evolved, then perhaps wind resistance might feature in this equation. But, as we know, this forum is a wind-free-zone... therefore, there's not a measurable amount of air-flow here. Anyway... I've Solved the Problem !!! As the rabbit always turns clockwise, there is no physical reason why he should lose (or gain) ground while making a turn. Unless he suffers an illness. Its all a Matter of Balance. As rabbits have particularly large ears they are more susceptible to infection. Which leads to the obvious conclusion... BALANCE !!! The rabbit is unable to maintain his balance as he has a... Middle Ear Infection !!! How intrepid is that ??? B) ...

Yes Eibhlin... again you introduce an interesting proposal.
I did consider your hot air theory... especially with Mike (Mr CC) forever shooting off his mouth. But, as hot air rises, it would not affect the horizontal movement of the rabbit... and... even if it did, there is no logical reason why it should be directional. So... if Lissa would perform her duty and immediately take the rabbit to a vet... I'm pretty sure it would prove my 'middle ear infection' theory to be quite sound. Easy... ...
