I have a 7" Single by ELO which when released had a double A side: Ticket to the Moon and Here is the News.

When i played it (years ago lol) it plays Here is the News on both sides, i kept it as my cousin who collects stuff like that said that it was called a 'mispress' Im sure its not a collectors item, but hey :-) it is to me.

I also have a The 1970 European Cup between Chelsea & Real Madrid match commentry on 12" Long play. Its only worth a few ?'s im sure, but i may put it on Ebay sooner or later and, well, you never know.

so come on.....what ya got in your lofts or cupboards?

My most valuable CD, the one that I spent the most money on would have to be 'Save the Linoleum.'

Yeah me too. Just got my copy of Save the Linoleum a few weeks ago. I have searched for years for an affordable copy and got extremely lucky on eBay. There's one on there at the moment for $149  Din't pay anything as ridiculous as that, not even close.

However, I do have 2 unbelievably rare cassettes. Both are directly from a special source close to working with master copies of albums!!! One of them is Metallica basically all the unedited messing about, sound checks, songs that didn't quite sound good and needed to be recorded again, some are just music and James humming the words just to hear it against the music. It is probably 1 of only about 10 copies in the world. It was for the Black Album.

The second, is Nirvana. Doing pretty much the same thing for their Bleach album and has some stuff from the Nevermind recordings aswell. Haven't played them in a very long time and sorry guys, but swore I would never share them either.

I have a feeling Kyle is snorting coz he paid something like the figure I mentioned. Am I right Kyle?

I only paid $32, inc delivery (that's about EUR25) which is still more than some people even at that price. I think our very own Mat here paid $7 or something like that for his original copy.

I bought my copy from someone who had it since it first came out. They worked in a record store, got 5 copies and decided to sell them all recently on ebay. Out of all 5 auctions, mine was the cheapest paid so lucky ol' me

I paid ?7 for Phyliss barnabee - I still don't have Save The Linoleum :care:

Phyliss is probably my rarest CD - I've got a 1 track promo of the radio remix of This Way which I haven't seen anywhere else too - I've seen one made in the US but not Made in Germany like this one, that cost me about ?1.50!!

I've got the Sketchbook promo of Avril's "Let Go" which has gone for ?30 odd on eBay - I paid ?12 from a record store in Camden :)

Other than those - I've got a lot of albums that are signed but not by anyone too major but they still mean a lot to me (Nerina Pallot, Thea Gilmore, Tuuli, Halo Friendlies, Amy Wadge...) - oh, my 0304 is signed by Jewel and Terry Wogan! (work that one out! ;) )

Oh yeah now I remember. Still That was a great price just for it.

Though I will give you something....I certainly think it is very rare to find an 0304 album signed by Terry Wogan but by Jewel as Well. That is one of a kind!

Insanely jealous of the Terry Wogan autograph!!!

Something I guess I paid way too much for.

It's an EP from 95, shortly after POY was released.

Here's the Tracklist:
Save the Linoleum:
1. God's Gift To Women
2. Intro
3. I'm Sensitive (live)
4. Who Will Save Your Soul (POY version)
5. Race Car Driver
6. Flower
7. I'm Sensitive (POY version)

MY VALUABLE COLLECTION!

I've decided to include pictures, because I am extremely bored and it is midnight and I can't sleep.

Includes:

A 1988 Sarah McLachlan "Live" 12" LP, which includes live versions of "Steaming" (from her first album "Touch") and "Solsbury Hill"

A copy of the Limited Edition Sarah McLachlan "Live" CD. Only 25,000 copies were made and it was released in 1992 and has been sold out since 1998. It includes:

1.Drawn To The Rhythm
2.Back Door Man
3.Home
4.Lost
5.I Will Not Forget You
6.Black
7.Ben's Song

A copy of Jewel's Morning Song single, which was released in Germany, and includes:

1. Radio Mix (which sounds like the album version with a full band)
2. Album Version
3. Reggae Mix (which is better than the radio mix, and doesn't sound "reggae", more like an alternate take of the radio mix)

I've got that Morning Song CD single too :)

Kiera - I got 0304 signed by Tezza and Jewel as I went to the recording of the (now defunct) Terry & Gaby show on five when Jewel was on it :) I was at the front, which meant Jewel was only a couple of metres away from me :) She looked *stunning* on the day and got a few smiles and winks from her which was cool  I think she liked my Do You Want To Play? t-shirt, haha.

I got 0304 signed during one of the ad breaks - much to the annoyance of floor staff ;) and then afterwards Terry was signing stuff so decided to go for the double whammy!!

Was a v. cool morning, a tad surreal too!
