Default What's your favorite song on Perfectly Clear.

I know we will probably all change our minds many times but what is your favorite perfectly Clear song after just a few listens?

I chose Anyone But You. It was hard though choosing between that, I Do, Love is a Garden, and Perfectly Clear.

I voted Rosey and Mick but I really love Loved By a lot. And Love is a Garden is one of my favorites right now.. I'm sure it'll change when I listen to it a few more times.. I'm trying not to listen to it so much, so that it still feels new when i have the actual disk.. I'm kinda glad it hasn't leaked or there would be nothing stopping me from loading into my iPod and wearing that album out..lol

Shoot, it's really close between I Do, Thump Thump and Perfectly Clear for me... I voted for I Do though. I hate country music, but Jewel can do no wrong so I am definitely pleased with this album.

I think it's Perfectly Clear, it's just beautiful. But I must say that Everything Reminds Me Of You sounds awesome. It's definitely one of my favorites right now.

I do love Perfectly Clear. I voted for thump thump before. I think it's tied for me. But those are the only 2 tracks I really can listen to on the album

I think we're of the same opinion of this album Gary. I've just finished my second listen and I definitely don't hate. In fact there's a lot to like. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not a country fan or if I feel that her live versions of the songs are so much better that I'm not really feeling it. I just feel that she's focusing on trying to sound country rather than the tone of the songs. Now as I say it's only my second listen so I could very well come round to the new sound.

I also really loved the Cowboy Waltz and I quite like I Do (though I really hate when songs fade out, it's a pet peeve of mine.)

Exactly. I think (in my opinion) Jewel just generally sounds better live acoustic type. Majority of the songs on the album I've already heard live bootlegs of and I just prefer her like that. I think she sounds funny when she's really overproduced. It's even hard for me to listen to This Way or 0304 or GAIW sometimes if the songs sound too polished.
I can hear Jewel in this album but it's like digging way down deep for me. I understand what she was going for and I am proud of her for doing what she wants, but it's just kind of difficult for me to listen to.

I have to be a little negative but in a good way. I wanted to chop my ears off while listening to 'Til it feels like cheating'. The lyrics, the song, the point, WTF? Jewel? WTF?!!!? I was kinda grossed out. Then as I was looking through the cd booklet I saw that it's the one song she did not write. Phew.... but wait, is this the first time she's recorded a song she herself did not write?
