She is with Irving Azoff but isn't managed by him directly but is currently managed by Virginia Davis while on tour (who works for Azoff Music Management). She's the one with the dark hair in many of her blog videos and the person I'm in direct contact with. But I'm also in contact with a few more people in AMM that are responsible for managing aspects of her schedule.
AMM have done wonders for her career alongside Valory. Much more than just DWTS. She gets her money's worth in other ways. |

Wow,Jewel looks amazing in the video, very glamorous,i am sure she will do well in the dance competion, but at least it will give her some deserved exposure to a wide audience.
I hope we can see it in the UK,i would definately watch it because of Jewel but i agree with Kiera, its not usually my thing. Good luck to Jewel anyway !!! |

Thanks for those Sam! Jewel looks gorgeous. I wonder if Ty's gonna wear the hat while dancing.

I think he should--no one's going to know who he is, so he could stand to make sort of a trademark for himself. He should also talk a lot about how he's a professional bullrider and how dangerous it is. Guys will think he's a badass and will get their girlfriends or wives to vote for him as the least of many evils.
I think Jewel should just be sarcastic and hilarious and nasty like she is in real life so people will vote for her just so they can hear what she has to say about stuff. If she plays it too sweet or too serious, I think people will get bored with her. |

It is rumored that Holly Madison will be replacing Jewel due to Jewel's knee injury.

And here what Jewel have to say about this rumors...
Well, as many of you know I have been having trouble with my knees after rehearsing long hours for Dancing With The Stars. The doctors thought I had tendonitis, but when I wasn't feeling better after some rest, I decided to get an MRI. When I heard the results I was in utter disbelief. The doctors told me that not one, but both of my legs were fractured!! He said my left one was particularly bad, and that I had to not only stop dancing, but stop walking and use crutches!!! He said I had just over done it with the rehearsals and training over the past few weeks and so my muscles became fatigued and transferred the overload of stress to the bones in my leg - causing the stress fractures! He says that type of injury can happen when athletes step up the amount or intensity of their training. Typical me- I throw myself 1000% into anything I do- that's how I went from being homeless to where I am today- but I just had no idea I could over-do dancing! Shock does not begin to describe it. I am heartbroken to say I will not be competing in this season of Dancing With the Stars. I'm sad I won't get to go through the rest of the experience competing with my husband, Ty. I don't really know what to say. I am sad and mad and disappointed and just blown away at all that has happened. I also feel particularly upset for my partner Dmitry. This is his first season on the show and he put so much work and thoughtful effort into training me. I really wanted America to see what a great dancer, choreographer and teacher he is. This wasn't the way I wanted to go, but my health must come first. And so it is with regret I will not be able to compete this season, but I will be there to cheer my husband on every step of the way- he will just have to dance for the both of us now! The good news is that my doctors say with rest and care, I will recover completely with no long-term damage. I hope I will be able to come back and compete on the show another season after my injury heals and get the chance to team up with Dmitry once again to show America our cha-cha! xxj Tae care, Sonne |

Ugh that sucks. I was so looking forward to her on the show. She would have kicked ass. Poor Jewel, she must be so disappointed. I'll still watch to see Ty though.
