OMG!!! I'm so there! I live in Denver AND I'm very familiar with the Kempe Center. I used to work full time but now just part time at a Women and Children's shelter and we used to refer familie to the Kempe Center. They really do wonderful work there!!!! How cool! Thanks for that bit of info!

So remember how I was having trouble purchasing tickets online? Well they fixed the problem and I bought my ticket. But then I got an email yesterday from the company saying that the "glitch" hadn't been completely resolved and my seat had not marked as sold. So, they sold my seat to a group of six people. And to rectify the problem they were going to buy me an even better "package" deal (I get to go to a dessert reception and have cocktails!) with better seats!!! Pretty awesome. I just wish that they would have bought me the $1000 package that included a meet and greet... but then again, I'd probably feel too awkward meeting Jewel. That'd be weird.

It's not that wierd, she's very shy, and not intimidating at all!

Yeah. I guess I could imagine her that way. I would probably be too shy and awkward to say anything. Maybe not though. I could surprise myself.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to hearing what songs she'll sing at this show. I was at a benefit concert she did in minneapolis one time and it was great because she sang very few songs that have been recorded. Also at the end Lenedra came out and sang... boy she has a beautiful voice.

I've got a business assignment in Denver on 14 Apri, so I'll be attending the show. I can't wait, as it will be my first Jewel concert. Although, I've got only one night in Denver, which is probably a good thing, as I've got a 2:30 flight coming in in the afternoon. I'll go see some friends in the area and then head to the show at 5, get out at 10, take a cab to collect some last minute things done and I'll have a flight aobut 5 from Denver back home. So, I'll be at the show for those who are attending... I can't wait, very excited.

You can't spot me either in the crowd, so don't try. Trust me, years of learning to blend in.

Is anyone else here going to the show, because I'd be wondering if anyone here was. Not that I'll know who you are, but it would be nice to say that we were at the same show together.

Any takers?

Only a few days now... I can't wait! The forecast is calling for "significant snow accumulation" over the next couple of days. Keep your fingers crossed that it's typical Denver weather and that the snow melts the next day (or that the weather people are wrong--which is often in this state).
