Whats Your Favorite CD Cover?
Just curious, what Jewel CD cover do you like the best? Least favorite? Why?
My favorite would have to be Perfectly Clear. The black and white with the blue text is really appealing to me. My least favorite would be the cover and the whole photo shoots of Spirit. It looks like she was dirty, almost like she lived in an automobile, but Jewel would never have lived in an automobile

for me it's a tie between POY and TW, but i ultimately went with the second. i love the whole photoshoot on that album.

The Inside of the This Way booklet has some of the best pictures of Jewel, plus the Serve The Ego cove is HOT! The only picture Im not too crazy about is the This Way cover itself.

i went with this way. like artistindisguise, i had trouble picking between that and POY. good idea for a thread! i don't really have one that i dislike a lot. i guess im not too big of a fan of Joy: A Holiday Collection, but not for any particular reason.

I Love the picture on the cover of 0304 but I hate the overall look of the cover. I voted for This Way. Its my favorite cover and favorite Jewel album.

I still think my favourite is POY. The whole sleeve is great. Quirky and artsy.

I am not interested in any. I voted for POY. but ONLY with the re-released version with she laying on bed of autumn leaves.
But GAIW's back cover is the Best pic of every album pics I could remember. really, it is a really fine shot. |

One thing about 0304 is that the designer did a great job with cutting her out. You have to look really close at the ends of her hair to tell she was cut from another image. I didnt notice untill years later.

yeah I know what you mean. I did Multimedia authoring in college and that involved copious amounts of hours working with similar intricate cutting out of graphics and pasting onto others. It's time consuming but easy with photoshop.

I like most of them , but Pieces of you (Jewel-on-leaves version) is just great. With Perfectly Clear, I had the feeling I had seen these pictures before, well done but not very "original" to me.
