Unhappy 6 year anniversary of my Mom's death

Tomorrow is the 6th Anniversary of my Mom's death. She died from a brain aneurism the same day I was gonna go see Jewel in concert. I didn't go because of her death and no one would take me. She died July 7, 2002.

Very sorry to hear of that AngelFreak! I couldn't imagine what it would be like losing my mother. I know it'll happen one day but I dread the thought.

Think of all the happy times you had together and take some time out today just for you to be able to do that. Forget everything else and just have your time!

Take care
Kiera

Hi Angel,

Really sorry you lost your mum, i found out last weekend my mum's got throat cancer, shes still going for tests but at this stage it dosen't look very good. Its impossible to guage how people cope before or after the inevitable but my advice is that an anniversary will,....in time,,slowly, slowly be easier to cope with emmotionally.

We never will forget loved ones we have lost, but its your own defence mechanism that kicks in and the memories will still and always be there for you to hold inside your heart, and nothing or no-one can take them from you.

Dave.
