I don't know how I missed this thread!! :-) My husband and I were born & raised in the Midwest and always dreamt of the amazing outside world. Our dream was to travel and experience everything out there we could (mostly cause we were bored in Iowa with nothing to do!!) HaHa!
My life's passion is to TRAVEL. So I have many thoughts on this subject. Once my husband gets his education settled here in the next year or so, that's our main goal. He feels the same way. The #1 place we both want to go???? AUSTRALIA!! Hubby wants to scuba dive with Great Whites, I want to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, and we both want to see the landscape, animals, and culture of Australia. It's such a unique place and we've always been fascinated with it. Now we'd like to add going to the Australia Zoo to see the facility and for the memorial for the "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin. My husband and I are passionate animal & nature lovers, and losing him has been such a tragedy for the animal/conservation world. He was such a passionate man and lived every day to the fullest. An example of how we all should be! Anyway, #2 on the list is Europe. For the first time there, we'd probably do one of those 2 week treks where you go all over Europe to get an overview of what it's like. For me, I specifically want to see IRELAND (I'm of Irish descent-maybe I'll stop & see ya Kiera!), SWEDEN (my family is mostly Swedish), and Venice, Italy. Ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to go on a gondola ride through the city. Many people say Venice is a dirty town, but I'm trying not to let that skewer my dream! :-) #3 Fiji, (very expensive!) or some other tropical location like the Virgin Islands. This will likely be one of our first trips (the V.I. that is) because it's relatively close to where we live and it's easy & pretty cheap to take a cruise right out of Florida. It will be our 'starter vacation'!!

Am I the only one that didnt pick a country/city/ something like that? I mean, the bottom of the ocean, that is clever
Besides the bottom of the Ocean, going to the inside center of the earth would be cool. I wonder if there could be animals living it it, like worms and bugs and such. Thats interesting....
