Secret to the ultimate pop song - Jewel - take note!
I was listening to Scott Mill's podcast (BBC radio 1 Dj that I think is brilliant) and on it, he had these guys...The Axis of Awesome.
They've discovered the secret to having a hit pop song is just 4 chords over and over and this video is proof. I love this and I'm just so amazed by how many great songs have come from just 4 chords. So Jewel...take note! We love you the way you are but if you're looking for that all time hit again...watch.

That's awesome!
So I'm not sure where to post this and didn't want to start a new topic.... but for any of you interested in helping out a fellow Jewel fan and indie songwriter... I'm in a contest to win a spot to play at the Austin City Limits Festival and if you'd like to help you can go to: http://delllounge.com/soundandthejur...y/default.aspx and vote for my song I would super appreciate it! FYI...my song isn't made of the 4 famous chords above but I think it's pretty catchy!

Absolutely. I'll start one in our 'Artist Suggestions' section and sticky it.

These are the repeated chords in the song Fading - it's just a different key.
The video is in E, Fading is in G but G-D-Em-C = E-B-C#m-A |
