Talking Tampa show goes on sale 7/12!

Is anyone else out there going to Jewel's Tampa show at the Ford Amphitheatre? Just thought I'd let you know that the tickets go on sale at 10am on Sat. 7/12 on Ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $25-55. Not too bad! Brad Paisley is the headliner....

I'm excited cause this will be the VERY FIRST TIME I'll have seen Jewel perform live! I can't believe it! So excited, I can't wait!

That's really exciting!

Just to warn you after Ticketmaster's fee's the totals right around ~80 bucks (at least for the Bristow show this saturday)

That's quite a difference in price. Not very fair really but let's hope it's affordable for as many people as possible and those that do get tickets, enjoy the show.

Would love to be there myself.

Yeah, good ol' Ticketmaster has to include their **ripoff** $12-15 for their "fees". It's so ridiculous! Not to mention $10 to park! :-( But it's worth it to see Jewel!

Hey BTW,

I used to always hassle with getting tickets as soon as they go on sale, etc, but I don't know if I will anymore. Every time I checked out tickets for the concert this weekend in Bristow, VA, the tickets have been better. I didn't check when they first went on sale, but I checked on Wed. and had seats in section 103 Row H, yesterday I bought tickets as 103 Row E, and last night they had some available in the Orchestra seating!

Depending on how many tickets you're getting, it might be worth it to check a couple times a day (not just get them on the first day) and get orchestra seats!

I can't guarantee this will work, though so you have to be willing to risk having excellent seats to end up with lawn seats (or potentially no seats depending on the venue).

I think what happens is Ticketmaster has a new "partner" website that they reserve all the best tickets for and sell them for ridiculous prices. Then as the show gets closer and no one pays the high prices, they release them back to the public through Ticketmaster's regular site. That's my conspiracy theory anyway.

You can also purchase insurance for $6 a ticket...I'm not positive that this will apply for the insurance or not, so read the terms carefully before using it to get better tickets.

Guess what? I GOT A 7TH ROW TICKET - FLOOR/ORCHESTRA LEVEL!!!! I'm so excited!!! I was surprised I could get that close without really even being in the Brad Paisley fanclub or anything!

Congratulations!

Make sure you take lots of pictures! They weren't strict on picture taking at all at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA this past weekend.

I totally agree with you on this. It has happened to me before where better seats are available at later times. I went to a Trisha Yearwood concert awhile back and originally couldn't get anything closer than 15 rows, but thought I should just buy it.....went back and tried about 2 weeks before the show and got 2nd row, right along the edge of the stage!

Thank you for the info! I take TONS of pics & vids at concerts so I'll be sure to fill up my memory card, no problem! :-) I'm still so darn excited, even though it's still like a month away!

I got about 11 videos of Jewel and about 200 pics. At one point I was about a foot away from here while she was performing on the catwalk on 'Love Me Just Leave Me Alone'!!!! She didn't reach down and shake anyone's hands though, so I was kinda bummed! But I couldn't believe how close I got! As I get my pics & vids organized, I'll post them here for everyone to see!
