Post No Good in Goodbye lyrics

I love that CMT puts the full song up.

Here's the lyrics, let me know if you hear it differently

No Good in Goodbye
Quote:
(Jason Michael Carroll)
I knew you wouldn't answer
After the things we said that night
And you were crying, I grabbed the keys and said goodbye
Well hang on, please don't hang up
Let me talk to our machine
I've had all this time to think about
What you mean to me

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
And I know we've said it's over
But my heart's telling me that that ain't right
And I know it can't be over
Cause I still wake up reaching for you in the night

(Jason Michael Carroll)
It took leaving for me to realize
There's no good

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
In goodbye

(Jewel)
But I'm listening to you talking
Should I pick up the phone?
Lay my pride aside and say come home
I've played that moment over time and time again
When giving up seemed easier than just giving in

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
And I know we've said it's over
But my heart's telling me that that ain't right
And I know it can't be over
Cause I still wake up reaching for you in the night

(Jewel)
It took leaving for me to realize
There's no good

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
In goodbye

(Jason Michael Carroll)
I'll try to call you one more time

(Jewel)
Oh, baby, do, just call me one more time

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
And I'll tell you, I'll tell you

I know we said it's over
But my heart's telling me that that ain't right
And I know that it can't be over

(Jewel)
Cause I still wake up reaching for you in the night

(Jason Michael Carroll)
It took leaving for me to realize
There's no good

(Jewel)
There's no good

(Jason Michael Carroll)
No good

(Jewel)
There's no good

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
In goodbye

(Jewel)
There's no good in

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
Goodbye

(Jason Michael Carroll)
No good in

(Jason Michael Carroll and Jewel)
Goodbye

Doeos anybody else get the feeling this is like a depressing version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside", liek an internal versus external struggle, something beyond grasping tangeability. I an't wait to hear this tune on YouTube.

I hope it's live!

Funny how a song can take on a different perspective when read in it's lyrical form.

Thanks Robby
