I almost always keep books after I read them, then several years later I tend to re-read them. I do give them away sometimes, if I get a newer copy of the book.

yeah, i couldn't see throwing a book away. But i've sold a book or two after I was finished with it. I sold a bunch of my old RL Stein books and my textbooks from school.

I'm a terrible horder of books in particular. I can't bear to part with them. However, I did a lot of thinning out when we moved. It was either that or have to move and extra 4 boxes. Needless to say, they were all expendable and I haven't missed them so I think my book hording days are coming to an end.

I know what you mean kiera, when i was in high school, I just kept every book I got my hands on, now i tend to be more selective about what I get. I really want to get a book by Cselow Milosz, I was reading through some of his poetry at B&N one time and really got into it, but I have a series to complete before I get anything else.
Has anyone else read the Chronicles of Narnia? I am mostly through it and I lie it alot more than I thought I would. I put it off for a long time because I thought that animated movie of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was really cheesy, but I cannot wait to see the movie now! Anyways....
