Just bought the Scissor Sisters album

:) bloomin fantastic, i love all the tracks especially 'it cant come quickly enough' and 'take your mama out'

special mention also for 'better luck next time' , sounds like an old depeche mode record, never let me down again.

I don't want to insult anyone with this song but I'm not sure if Jewel fans would like the band- Cure, Love song
Actually Tory Amos did a cover I think smile.gif You should listen to the cover as well
Jack off Jill does a cover of that too.

I've been listening to both of breaking benjamin's cds for the past month, i just love all the songs.

Many bands do, it's a very popular song. Have you heard A Perfect Circle? They have done a cover as well. It's just a beautiful song. Actually, I have a quote for you:
RD: Who are your favorite artists at the moment?
Jewel: I like David Gray a lot and recently I've been getting into The Cure (years too late, I know). I like Michelle Branch a lot, too
:) There you go, it's from an interview with Ronita Dutta. And to recommend a song, download Perfect Circle, Blue. Maybe you'll love it :)

I already have all the APC albums. I love them too, even the new one that a lot of people don't like it. Do they cover the Cure on one of their albums?

And i forgot to say, Blue is the first APC song that I really liked. Now, it might be the politics, but I really get off from Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum.

Actually it's strange because even though SRWD is one of the most popular songs on the album I loved Blue more as well, especially when I heard the album for the first time
It's not interesting ;) You know everything that I name, and the point is to name something that people don't
Hmm well download that version of Tori Amos' cover  You can pirate it

Well, maybe we just have the same taste in music. And for both of us Jewel is kind of the oddball in our music libraries. ;)

Okay, I got a new song, it's Breaking Benjamin covering Awake by Godsmack. If you can find it give it a listen it kicks @$$.

i think the best rendition of Awake was the Godsmack concert, the sat. after sep.11th, they had almost cancelled the concert because of it, Sully said how it had taken on a whole new meaning for them after the attacks, and after a brief prayer and moment of silence you could just feel the energy of it going through the crowd...it was awesome, that's my favorite time hearing Awake

Track 8 - Street map
Track 10 - 24 Hours

Venn - by various Norwegian artists, in aid of the Tsunami appeal.

Venn means 'friend' - its a great song, even if you cant speak Norwegian.

written by Lene Marlin & Espen Lind who both sing on the track

ps, for Lene Marlin fans, her new album is out now.
