Default Buy Perfectly Clear for $1!!

From Jewel's MySpace Blog:

Quote:
So, I have been reading some mail from fans recently, about how the
recent economic climate is effecting them- I see fans and folks who are
really struggling right now. The music business has sure slowed down...
ticket sales and cd sales across the board are down. I read recently
that the Country music side of the buisnes is being particulary hard
hit, along with every other industry in the States and the world at
large.... Anyway, I've been reading messages from fans saying they
wanted to buy several of my CD's as holiday gifts for family, but felt
unable to shell out enough cash for 5 cd's at 15 bucks a pop- and then
it hit me! I came up with a little plan that could help fans, and also
give back to the Country community that has taken me in this year!

So, heres my little plan to help spread the holiday cheer: on
"Black Friday" (November 28th, the day after Thanksgiving) I will offer
my CD for only one dollar on my website, and fans can buy as many as
they want. I will give 100 percent of the proceeds to the Country
Music Hall of Fame's "All For The Hall" charity.(All for the Hall is an
ongoing national fundraising campaign that supports the Country Music
Hall of Fame's not-for-profit educational organization's mission. The
proceeds will help to fund the storage and preservation of the museum's
unduplicated collection of country music artifacts, and assist their
staff's efforts to make the collection available to the largest possible
audience through exhibits, programs, books and recordings)Its my way of
saying thank you to my fans, and of helping preserve the proud history
and heritage of a genre of music I'm crazy about. (For more details, see
the press release posted below)

So spread the word! As the economy continues to tighten, you can
feel good knowing you have a great gift or stocking stuffer covered-
guilt free! That's a gift that keeps on giving...

Happy Holidays!!
xxj

Probably the same as it is to Ireland. Last time I checked, about $15
