Jewel in media
Just flicking through one of our national papers and low and behold who do I see? Our very own Jewel.
After getting over that shock, I then gasped as I read the tag over her photo "Worst Dressed". Clearly this Irish Journalist got the images swapped as she had Katherine Heigl (who I think is great by the way) dressed in an awful looking thing that didn't flatter a millimeter of her down as best dressed and claimed Jewel's long flowing green gown in it's simple slip style and small jewelled detail down as the worst. Think I'll have to send her a quick mail to correct her error...don't you agree? http://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/...d-1838302.html |

I always like to see Jewel in the media, but Kiera I think you are quite right and definitely send her a mail. It's not the most flattering dress Jewel's ever worn but I still think it's lovely and is a lot more flattering than Katherine Heigl's putty coloured monstrosity!

Don't mince your words or anything there Lou. LOL!
She's a friend of a friend so I'll pass it on. I seriously think that she has it all wrong though in fairness to her, she is very nice about Jewel in general and just feels that the dress doesn't do her justice. She knows she's a fan of Temperley and that she's got a great body hiding underneat the dress and feels she needs to show it off so she is familiar with Jewel. Maybe she'll put her in the features section again. IN a more positive light next time though. Oh and Lou is the only one here that will get why I feel the need to explain but I got the paper for free. I'd never buy that crappy paper. But it's a reasonable escape in the morning over coffee for something I don't need to pay for. Funny how we can tolerate things like a crappy newspaper, when it's free. Much prefer the Irish Times for Irish news but the Guardian is great for general and world news. |
