Yeah that's really old. That's the version where Sean Penn directed the video. Jewel was dating him at the time.

It is really cool that you found it though coz it was really hard to find and I only got it myself recently.

I've never known it to be a rumour. As far as I am aware, it has always been fact though I have nothing to confirm that concretely.
