my parent's took a picture of it for me when they went out there on vacation. I gave them the address, it's not a coffeehouse anymore, I don't know what it is.

I was on a trip to California several years ago and stopped at both Java Joe's and Innerchange. I don't remember which one was still operating as a coffee shop, but whichever one it was had a pay toilet--like 25 cents to get in and use the crapper. And the stall door looked like an old-time refrigerator door. I took a picture of that and will try to dig it up and post it here.

That location also had a bunch of Jewel memorabilia, of course, including autographed photos and some of her artwork--you know, like those crazy sketches of girls with really thin necks and really large heads. But none of that was as interesting as the can--I found that so hilarious.

Still no luck in tracing down what the address was for Innerchange Coffehouse. Last replay on email i got from a coffeshop in Ocean beach, was that there has never been an Innerchange in San Diego

Got some new info about Java Joe's and Innerchange!

Java Joe's has been on two location's, at one point it was moved to: 1956 Bacon Street St. Ocean Beach. Where my images are from.
Innerchange was at: 828 Turquoise Street, Pacific Beach. Now there are a new apartment building at the location!
