Next Single??
any mention as to what it is yet.
I think Valory is leaning towards "Til it feels like cheating" Watch the latest Valroy Video Update on youtube to me it seems they are hinting towards that. |

I´m hearing the song right now and I like it very much, though I thought it will be Anybody but you. I hope the video is more leaning on picture art, like the way of You were meant for me.
Take care, Karina |

Remember, the sticker on the CD said "featuring Stronger Woman, I Do and Two Become One".
Dont get me wrong, I love 2 Become 1, but as a single, not Two Become One. EVERYTHING REMINDS ME OF YOU!!

Agreed, I just can't get on board with TIFLC. Everything reminds me of you reminds is the best written song on the album, IMO.

I, for one, am delighted to hear about TIFLC coz I simply adore it. ERMOY is another one which should be made into a single.

I'd prefer Anyone But You personally... she can showcase her vocals on that song better live, too.

I think TIFLC is the closest thing to a surefire radio hit. If they hurry up and release it (which they need to do, as ID is a complete disaster right now), she can follow it up with ABY at the beginning of 2009 if she wants to, assuming TIFLC does really well, or just pack it in and start work on her next CD if it doesn't do well.
Also, I do think--if she wants a shot at a Grammy nomination (and possible win)--she needs to release either TIFLC or ABY this month, as the cutoff is September 30, and neither SW nor ID is worthy of a Grammy, IMO. In fact, I believe if she does not release a new single by September 30, the relatively poor artistic quality of SW and ID will prevent the CD from getting a nomination, and also believe that the release of an artistically strong song such as TIFLC or ABY could elevate the album to a nomination along with the song. |

Til it feels like cheating is indeed gonna be the next single and they are already preparing the release. Jewel has started singing it on tour and she's gonna be on the Today Show next week, probably singing it. About Grammy, well, Jewel has never been a favorite, even with big songs like Hands, Standing Still or Intuition (which IMO should have definitely been nominated for best pop vocals). I think Stronger Woman is their best bet at a nomination but I wouldn't count on it at all.

I actually thought Foolish Games should have won Best Pop Female Vocal the year it was nominated, and think if it had, Jewel would have been more of a darling than she ended up being, and probably would have been nominated for Hands and possibly for Intuition later as well. Stronger Woman will get a nomination only if the Country Female Vocal field is incredibly weak, which I don't think will be the case. 'Til It Feels Like Cheating is by no means a Grammy lock, but I do think if it performs well on radio, it will be the frontrunner over Stronger Woman because (1) Stronger Woman is awfully stale at this point, and (2) it's just a better song. In any event, I'm glad to hear they're getting it out to radio--and hopefully by the end of the month--because I Do is going nowhere.

According to Allaccess.com 'Till It Feels Like Cheating will be impacting (ie officially added to radio) on 27th October.
Chris.

As a follow-up to Stronger Woman: maybe. As the third single after the catastrophe that was I Do: I don't think so, but I'm hopeful! Jewel needs to promote the hell out of this one, and whoever called in those favors for SW needs to get back on the phone. This song is too good to let die.
