I'm going out for some green beer. Plus my friend's brother's band is playing at the bar tonight so it'll be a blast I'm sure.

Thanks Kiera!!! I just realized how un-Irish I was yesterday.....I FORGOT TO WEAR GREEN! My ancestors are probably flipping over in their graves!!! The one day I'm supposed to honor all things Irish and I blow it. But I DID have a glass of green beer, does that count????

Of course it counts LOL
But over here...it's St Patrick's WEEKEND so you coud have celebrated today or even tomorrow in spirit. It's a bank holiday here tomorrow so day off from work...or rather...the day where everyone needs to recover from their hangovers. |

Ian Fleming recommends a universal cure. Ginger ale and brandy the morning after with a few phensic tabs, that's supposed to work, although I admittably haven't been able to get ahold of whatever Phensic tablets are. It's probably just aspirin, with the "A" and the "S" scraped off.

I had a fine St. Patrick's Day. I listened to lots of Irish music of course and I had Shepherd's pie and Irish soda bread for dinner with grasshopper pie for dessert. It was all delicious. I was also pretty busy too, a little more than I wanted to be...I spent hours upon hours doing extra credit volunteering (had to be on this day of all days), then went to church followed by seeing my sister's play. As far as the Guiness goes... I'm a few months too young but I'll be sure to take it on next year.
