Default Pluto where are you?

Did anyone else hear that Pluto is no longer a planet? Sorry if I am way behind hearing this... but it's something about the distance from the sun is so far it's no longer considered a planet, but they found 2 new planets? Anyone else hear about this?

at least JUPITER is still a planet he he (ok I'm a dork)

Yeah they are reassessing the planet. I never really felt pluto was a planet. It's more like a big chunk of ice. Ok maybe not quite like that but it just seems too small and too far for it to be a planet. It doesn't function too much like a planet either. They want to start recognising other things as planets.

Sorry for the bad terminology - very rushed message

Yes I've heard that too. When I was in school though it was accepted as a planet. With our increasing technology they keep finding new stuff every day. It's amazing!

I was kinda sad too because it makes me think of the dog pluto. I'm a dork but it does.

I was sad also actually. Chris you ARE a dork ha ha but I was sad I was thinking when I have kids they are going to be learning different stuff, they are going to be making those solar system (what do you call them?) mobiles? and pluto won't be there and there will be new planets I've never heard of...
