Well there's one 40 minutes from me but it only has 3 members. Don't know if it is worth my time. Seems like a cool idea though.

lol, yep, you definitely have an LJ, don't you. :P I've never bothered with those meetups though, I didn't think many people would join if they lived anywhere near me.

Typically there are none near me. I have only met a handful of people here who know her and like Jewel enough to even take part in something like this.

Pity. It would be quite cool.

Though I do plan on meeting Mat (doyouwanttoplay from the jeweljk forums) and of course, our very own Dave (bluediamond) at some stage in the future.

Dave...you're only a cheap Ryanair flight away.

I didn't come across this site from LiveJournal I did when I was looking for a forum. I had no idea that things like that existed so I wanted to ask if anyone here was a part of this

I don't know how safe it is because you never know who may show up but I think that there are about 3-4 members in every group. It's up to you :)

Actually this thread has got me thinking.....

I wonder if Jewel would ever join this site lol, i mean, lets face it, it not like she would have anything better to do during the week if shes already recorded her album, and no plans for a tour.

Ok, heres the plan, an atempt to be made by fellow JFK members to actually get Jewel to sign up to this forum, actually when you think about it, how hard can it be?, i bet she occationally viewed and took a sneaky look at the messages on the 'official' board.

me and my friend Nicole were on the phone she tells me if sh knows anything about them I was like no.

There isn't one in my area but I would like to start one sounds reallly intresting
