LMAO last night as I watched an episode of Family Guy (brilliant show) that I have never seen before.
Anyone seen the episode when they pretty much say the Ricky Martin is Jewel? Ricky Martin goes into he dressing room, changes clothes, puts on a blonde wig and a guitar. Another door opens and it's a guy that says something along the lines of 'There ready for you Jewel' How totally messed up is that? Funny though! How they came up with that one is beyond me. |

I saw that one Kiera. She was mentioned on another show called Baby Blues. The dad on the show (I can't remember his name) was asked by his wife if he would remarry if she died. He said no, then in a thought balloon, he went through a list of women he'd like to marry. Among them were our own Jewelie-girl and Mia Hamm. I thought it was cool. Who wouldn't marry Jewel? *cough cough Ty* Lol.

Its actually on the fox channell FX on Digital. It's a cartoon but it is certainly NOT for kids. I'll get you more info in the morning. I'm going to bed now.
But I promise the info. It's a hilarious program. |

I <3 Family Guy... Seriously I need to sit on newspaper when I watch it.
I have every episode from the first 3 seasons on DVD and I've taped all the new episodes of season 4. I can't really explain it, other than it's the most fast-paced cartoon I can watch without having a seizure. It's funny as hell, and you never know what to expect. You can goHERE to learn more about the show. |

Depending on your humour, it is really a massive insult to Irish People as they are an Irish American family called the Griffins. But I am not easily insulted or offended and I just think it's hilarious.
There really isn't any connection with Ricky Martin and Jewel of course. But it was more weird than funny that part. But that's Family Guy. You can't say anything is out of the ordinary because with that show...anything goes. Stewie Rox! |

I don't think it's insulting to the Irish, I'm half Irish (And darn proud of it).
I think there's one episode where peter's father comes to stay with the family and is Irish/Catholic side irritates the entire family. Other than that I don't think they draw too much attention to the fact that he comes from an Irish/catholic background and her married a protestant whore. If it's against any group of people it's against Canadians. Yeah, Stewie definitely rocks, but I really like Lois. I especially love her in the episode 'Let's go to the hop' when she and peter are doing a bondage spoof and she says "The safety word is banana."  |

Well then you haven't seen the one where they actually insult the Irish. It's hilarious but you have to have a pretty open sense of humour and not take it so seriously. Priceless.
