To this day, I still have never tried lobster. I am not a big fan of seafood in general and only eat a small selection of fish so I am a bit hesitant.

But it does sound quite tasty when you talk about eating it with some melted butter. Anything sounds nicer with some melted butter.

You can actually purchase bright blue lobsters for your own aquarium. I've seen them in pet stores before. Not sure where they came from.

Hey, my father-in-law, who we affectionately call The Mountain Man will eat anything that moves..........so when he found out we were moving to Florida he joked he was going to come down here and HUNT FLORIDA FLAMINGOS!! We all died laughing, it was so damm funny!!! So now we send him flamingo postcards all the time and tell him that it's prime flamingo season!! (Of course it is illegal, & they're actually really rare in Florida!).....but we all get a good laugh about it!!

Flamingos stay pink by eating shrimpies. Something having to do with iodine or something I think...

Yeah, that's probably the same thing he does.....it's very Redneck!!

well, I take that back partially ('anything that moves') at least, he won't eat his own pets. like cats & dogs....that's a bit toooooo far!!! Squirrels, birds, snakes, deer, just whatever he'll have it on that dang barbecue!! Yuck! Although my husband says snake isn't too bad.... none for me though!

i can't imagine eating snake, one of my relatives way down the line had a redneck backwoods bf who was old enough to be her father but anyways he shot a snapping turtle and they made turtle and noodles and i tried it and it was actually good until I bit into a bone and then i'm like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh turtle turtly

okay, no dogs and cats... but I'm kind of snake sensitive, so no eating snakes.
