I heard that Jewel had some big meltdown onstage in 2003, I don't really even know what the story is. Can someone please explain it to me. I heard it was something about defending 0203, i mean 0304, whoops!

As I recall it all started with this bad review of a Jewel concert in New Hampshire: Seacoast Online

This story was picked up and carried by many sources under many different headlines. Many jewel fans thought it was all just an issue made out of nothing. Jewel joked with the audience with some of the same jokes she has told a dozen times, but this reviewer did not seem to understand her humor. Jewel may have had some sarcastic remarks for this audience that many described as "a bunch of drunks." Some fans said it might have been an off night, but it was nothing close to a "meltdown."

My favorite description was this defy magazine article that said Jewel was Courtney Love's long lost sister. Defy Magazine

a meltdown...more like the media f*ckn' everything up and makin' up stories as usual...... at least it didn't go too far and ruin her career like the media has done to people like mariah carey or michael jackson!

Some show business people have publicists that actually help this kind of story along. One of the oldest sayings in show business is that there is no such thing as bad publicity. I like to think Jewel is not one of those who delights in this type of story.

i actually went to my sister's friend's studio (well, the one he records in) and they had it for the whole day and they were taking a break, so i started fooling around and i ended up recording a parody of Sarah McLachlan's "Sweet Surrender" called "Scandanavian Surrender"

It was totally hilarious, especially since i can't sing, it ended up being like 2:00 long cause i didnt have enough time, and I kept messing the fake lyrics up with the real ones. LoL, typical bobby!

kjm030584, why must you be so cruel with your hurting sarcasm, i could never understand how someone could bare to be sarcastic, imagine, a sarcastic jewel fan...... I wonder who that would be.....
