There's been no official release of 'Carnivore' as of yet, correct? I'm kinda surprised that it didn't make "Goodbye..."
I wonder if we'll get any more rarities via b-sides? Her Japanese releases always have 1-2 extra tracks. What fan favorites are we missing after "Alice..." is released? Carnivore Violet Eyes Rosy & Mick ??? what else?

There's going to be a whole bunch of popular bootleg songs that just didn't make the cut. It makes me wonder why she didn't go for the usual 14 track album and stick just one more on.
I don't mean that as a criticism, just to be clear. I am guessing it is because a lot of the mentioned songs don't really fit into the autobiographical theme she has gone for. Also, considering Jewel really has hundreds of songs in her catalogue, she'd be bringing out box sets to try and please most people. There are loads of my faves not on there but at least we can still enjoy them in the bootleg formats :) |
