I am tired of these types of endless debates as well but they will continue til Jewel gets her ass in gear and gets the new album out. I bet that will be criticised as well coz you can't please everyone.

Simple thing to do is what I do...stay away from these topics if they annoy you that much. I have to read them but if I didn't, I wouldn't.

So long as we can be mature and adult about this and not make stupid childish comments at each other, then it's fine. Otherwise, you'll notice my attention being very much perked up and dealing with the offending parties.

My prediction is that Jewel's next album will have more country flavor. Trouble is then the people who loved 0304 will be the ones complaining. I happen to like *good* country music. Trouble is most of the country music they play on the radio and TV melts brain cells. ;)

actually....i don't really care for country...that's what bugged me about some of this way...lol and - i mean some of it is ok...like shania twain...but that's it!

I do see where you guys are coming from, but I truly don't think that 0304 was made simply to make money. Not because "It's Jewel! She can never lie to us!", but because I do believe she is as eclectic as she says she is. If you listen to This Way, you can see (hear) that. That album alone has rock sounds, country sounds, folk sounds, jazz sounds, and yes even a cheesy pop song (This Way). I don't think she will ever stop doing purely pop or folk albums, I think she'll continue to do whatever SHE wants to do regardless of what the fans or the record labels want. She has said that she'd love to do a jazz album and a country album in the future, so she will not stick with one or two genres all the time. You may think she was lieing then, but I guess only time will tell.

Again, sorry if I came off sounding too harsh in my post, but I really do try not to read these sort of threads anymore.

LoL, i knew my post would come back and bite me in the behind. I was really pissed when i wrote it, so if you knew me (and you dont) you know that when i get pissed i write (say) things i soon regret, like that EDA post. Wow, i must hand it to myself i'm pretty good at raising hell. JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, im very sarcastic, if you havent guessed already. So please excuse my sarcasm, i will have to figure out a way to make sarcasm notifiable (if thats a word) on the internet. lol.
