Ehh.. too many people I knew at the time were having babies.. I was just getting sick of it. Especially my woman friends who had kids turned into completely different people. Instead of calling and talking about a party they put little billy on the phone and you're stuck listening to an infant making wierd sounds. I was just thinking about if Jewel had a baby and decided to return to the music business she'd have a track devoted to her baby, probably with those same sounds. *shudder*

Whether she does have a baby or not, I doubt that she'd ever completely quit the music business. Just look at Celine Dion, Sarah McLachlan and some others, for example. B)

I want Jewel to have a baby and to write songs about it. Having kids is a joy and I would like Jewel to enjoy this experience. She's not getting any younger and the latest research says that fertility in women often drops off earlier in women than previously thought. She's in her 30's and that's prime time to be a mom for the first time.

Jewel, don't listen to anybody that tells you to postpone starting a family just to write and sing a few more silly pop songs. You'll have plenty of time for that later, but you would forever regret putting off a family until too late. If anybody tells you otherwise give them a free bird. ;)

I'm pretty sure having a baby won't stop her from making music... So if she does have a baby, good for her.

Just wish I would have been thinking more clearly last april fools.
