Yes she's like any other performer, she makes a little mistake here and there. But I also think she changes her lyrics as she goes sometimes. I personally like the way she sang it on This Way (referring to the above lyrics). There's many songs she sings differently to keep it spontaneous and improvisational.

Love love love If My Heart Were Made of Gold... also Swedish Lullaby, but I could only vote for one...

Obv. everything live of hers is fantastic however.

on the live version of stand she adds lyrics like "doctor" before "king" which made it make sense to me and then it sounds like she changes "all the pain that love brings" to "life brings" or have I been wrong the whole time? and is she saying "so much violence, sins, and silence" and then changes it to "violence ends in silence"???

I also adore If My Heart Were Made Of Gold. It has the best lyrics since she wrote A Long Slow Slide IMO. I love how it has only 2 chorus.

That's a good question, I'll have to go listen to mine to check it out. It's hard to tell with all those 's' sounds in the phrase.

Oh I adore that song. I taught myself to play it on guitar. Jewel singing a song from a boys perspective and it is done so well. You can feel you are the boy and the wondering about the world...Love it.
