On Jewel's new blog on MySpace it mentions that 'Stronger Woman' will be the 1st single to be released in Feb. with the album coming out in the summer.

"Jewel to sing National Anthem at PBR VERUS Invitational

Multi-platinum recording artist Jewel will sing the National Anthem live from Madison Square Garden at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders, Inc) VERSUS Invitational this Sunday, January 6th. The three-day event is part of the elite 2008 Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS).

Jewel recently signed to industry pioneer Scott Borchetta's The Valory Music Co., sister label to Big Machine Records (Taylor Swift, Trisha Yearwood, Jack Ingram). Jewel's latest single, "Stronger Woman," hits Country radio in February and her highly-anticipated new album is slated for a Summer 2008 release.

The PBR is owned and operated by the seven-time All-Around Rodeo Champion Ty Murray. The VERSUS Invitational will be held January 4-6th at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Jewel will perform the National Anthem on the final day of competition, which will be broadcast live on NBC beginning at 4:30 ET/ 3:30 CT."

I think Rosy and mick will defenately be on the new album but not as a live track I think... I wonder if she has some new songs beside Thump Thump, I do and Stronger woman...mabe she'll put Stephenvile Tx again and other songs from previous albums as she did with Fragile heart (hope she doesn't do that, though)

Oh, I hope violet Eyes gets to be on the CD it's really a beautiful song...

She mentioned in one of the interviews that there was a song about murder. That could be a new song. or maybe....HOPEFULLY....it's Nicotine Love!

I love Violet Eyes took. I hope it's live though. the simplicity of just the acoustic guitar makes it special and beautiful. If it's overproduced it may take away from that. Rosy & Mick and Carnivore would sound great produced though (in my opinion). Anyone know when we'll know what we get to chose from?

Didn't she say in a recent interview that there was this song that she felt noone got the first 2 times.
So she was for sure going to put it on this album. I think it was called "Fragile Heart"
Ok so i am making this up.

It could happen Jewel does that kinda thing
