I Do single performance

Could someone who knows please tell me whether stations are picking up I Do now that it's officially impacted radio (as of June 23)? I have checked on Mediabase, All Access, and Radio & Records, and it looks like it hasn't gotten many adds yet, but then I also recognize that those charts may lag behind the actual news by a few days or even a week. Does anyone know how the song is doing in terms of whether stations are picking it up?

As to how its spin gains are looking on the Mediabase chart, right now it's at #58 on the country chart with a +111 bullet. I know that chart is backward looking over the last week, so we're largely seeing pre-impact spins there.

Yeah its moving pretty slow. Not many stations have added it. The ones that have are not playing it much at all. Its definatly not moving as fast as Stronger Woman did. It may just take some time. Everyone request it!

Yes we do need to request it, someone said and don't know if this is true, but they said that Stronger women went up the charts fast because radio picked it up as a favor to who ever it is at Valory that is a big wig (can't remember his name) but the radio stations aren't doing it for I do. Now this could all be wrong but it is what I was told.
I personally like I Do better than Stronger Women and I thought it would go higher in the charts than stronger women. Hopefully it is just off to a slow start but will pick up.

Seriously, am I correct in calculating based on the adds we've seen to date that this song has been picked up by only about 25 stations?

What's the deal?

I've obviously said I think it's a crap song, but given SW's success, this is kind of surprising, even for me. Are we witnessing the same old Jewel second single curse (DSL, BM, Stand, GD) or is it that the song is way too pop for country? I suspect it's more the latter.

If this single ends up being just a complete flop, I think she needs to get her act together and release TIFLC in a hurry...

If it is 80 stations that have picked I DO up, is that good or bad. I haven't a clue how many stations should have picked up the song by now. All I know is that I really like
I DO, better than stronger women and I thought it would go higher on the charts than stronger women. You can see I don't know how to pick a song.

Its doing really bad right now. Less than a 50 bullet. In comparison Jessica Simpson's bullet is over 400.

Why would Jessica Simpson's single be doing so good, the song is awful.

Jessica's is a 1st single and it's doing similar to how Stronger Woman did, so we can't compare it to I Do. Still, I Do is not catching up but I think it will. It might be one those songs, like Miranda Lambert's Gunpowder and Lead and Jason Michael Carroll's single that take 20-25 weeks to reach Top 20. The country format is just weird like that, it's very different than the pop/hot ac charts.

Exactly! Gunpowder & Lead has been out for months and now the radio play is picking up.

In it's 2nd week charting it only moved up from 60 to 56..
Looks like it's gonna be a long slow climb..
Maybe it will get somewhere:-)

Yeah, she's at #49 on country airplay. They considered her a "Breaker" which seems like a good thing. Let's keep on requesting to get that song up there!
