I've finally gotten the chance to submit my blog for Jewel's site of my experience being an Almost Famous winner. Here's the video though for you all to see before it gets posted.

The highlight of the show for me was when she played Life Uncommon. During our interview I told her that it was my favorite song and really helped me through some bad times. I know I didn't really get across just how much her music meant to me but I did write her a letter because I knew I wouldn't be able to. Anyway, about halfway through the show she says, "I got to meet a fan before the show and she told me this song really helped her out through some rough times so I'd like to play this for her." I yelled out thank you, not sure if she heard me, we were seated a bit back. It meant so much to me and brought tears to my eyes.
In the video you'll also learn a bit more about her upcoming album. I was so nervous I didn't really ask much of anything and laughed alot, I hope she doesn't think I'm too crazy!
