No, actually this is not true - at least from my experience anyway. I get my injections for medical reasons, NOT cosmetic reasons (maybe it is true for cosmetic Botox?). A Neurology specialist Dr. does my injections and it's covered by my medical insurance. It takes 3-4 days to up to a week for the Botox injections I get in my neck and back to even start being effective. And my neck and back haven't "changed" shape or anything! haha! ;-) I've come home and taken naps after my injections before usually b/c my appointments are early in the morning and I work late the night before. The reason my lung collapsed is simply because the needle went in too far into my thoracic cavity - it went beyond the layer of muscle in my back. It had nothing to do with taking a nap, I assure you. I've had a few rounds of Botox now and it works very well to relieve my muscle spasms. I still recommend it even though this happened to me!
