I kinda like it when she's mean, and I also like it when she gives them technical advice. I think if she were too nice or not specific enough with her criticisms, she'd get a reputation for being the Paula and no one would take her judgment seriously. As it is, I think she's pretty pointed but pretty right-on, and people are getting a chance to recognize that she has real chops.
