Sorry, I had to close this thread beyond 500 posts. The thread has been reopened in a new thread HERE

It is because when a thread goes over 500 posts in vBulletin, it has been known to cause loading on the database. It hasn't done that here but I'm not going to take the chance. This is the recommendation which I am following.
