I can't speak for the admins, but I would think that they might allow it as long as you posted only links and they would not be hosting the actual files. That kind of thing really eats up the bandwidth.
In defense of this kind of thing. Here's my thoughts:
- Only Things Taped Off Television should be posted.
- Don't Post Anything Off a Commercially Available Product.
- Posting Commercials Should Be Encouraged. The advertisers would be very happy.
Taping and sharing of videos that you have taped of the air is legal even in the US. You can't make a profit off them or charge admission to view them. Many people just assume that this is not legal to tape shows off the air. They make DVR recorders like Tivo that can be used to record shows and copy them to DVD's. All of this is legal from what I understand.
Wouldn't it be OK to simply share links to things that you taped off the television?
