Hello,
I got to this forum because I was trying to understand what's happening to Jewel and her mother.
Yes, she never ever mentions her mother anymore, not in her albums, not in her interviews, not in her concerts...

Before I got to even realize the above, when I first listened to Goodbye Alice in wonderland...I kept wondering who she was talking about when she sings "that was not love in your eyes, it was only a reflection of my lonely mind....." I thought that she might not be talking about a lover, but someone else, perhaps about her mother...
